Profile of the programme: 
The students acquire the necessary knowledge and skills for their work as engineers in enterprises of automotive industry, service centers, and service stations. The specialists are able to apply knowledge in the sphere of development of technological processes of maintenance and repair, to conduct management of these processes. The field of their activity is an industrial engineering basis of a motor transport enterprise. In the course of training, the students master modern software systems and technologies (Компас, AvtoCAD, Sold Work). The specialists are able to design and calculate motor transport enterprises, non-standard equipment.
The total amount of the curriculum is 240 ECTS credits, including module of humanities and social subjects — 28 credits, module of fundamental, natural, and general economic subjects — 60 credits, module of professional and practical training — 152 credits.
Key learning outcomes: 

1. Subject area knowledge

  • Basics of fundamental sciences in the amount needed for solving the industrial engineering and designing tasks.
  • Fundamentals of professionally-oriented subjects, in particular, those of technological and designer’s field; as well as fundamentals of humanities and social-economic subjects which concern modern level of economic, historical, philosophic, polytological, and sociological theories.
  • Fundamentals of labour protection and protection of human rights, main constitutional rights and obligations.
  • Fluent business Ukrainian language as well as a foreign one within the curriculum.
  • Fundamentals of programing, ability to apply computers at the level of customer.
  • Fundamentals of ecological theory, safety of life activity in the cases of emergencies.

2. Cognitive skills and habits from the subject

  • To analyze the constructions of the rolling stock of automobile transport (passenger and freight), ability to apply fundamentals of their operation and repair, production and design.
  • Under the guidance of a specialist, to develop special and specialized auxiliaries for technological operation, repair and diagnostics of the rolling stock of automobile transport.
  • Under the guidance of a specialist, to design enterprises of automobile transport.
  • Under the guidance of a specialist, to develop schemes for automobile transport concerning traffic management in populated localities, to carry out works of transport-expedition service of automobile transportation, informational service for participants of traffic.
  • Under the guidance of a specialist, to develop elements which ensure road safety for vehicles and to complexly estimate road safety conditions, to develop schemes of automobile transportation, to conduct examination of traffic accidents as an expert.
  • Under the guidance of a specialist, to develop and use main technical means of traffic management and those of technological process of automobile transportation.
  • To be good at intercommunication between productive and social-cultural spheres: to apply elements of social psychology and pedagogic for understanding of peculiarities of mental activity of people under different circumstances as well as laws and basics of legislation, basics of market relations, fundamentals of ecology and life activity safety.

3. Practical skills

  • Habits of management of automobile enterprises and those of operation of different vehicles for transportation of both passengers and freight.
  • Skills in using the specialized software in own work.
  • Habits of work with special and specialized measuring and diagnosing devices and systems.
  • Habits of individual designing both automobile enterprises and their subdivisions.
  • Habits of development of devices for ensuring activity of automobile enterprises.

4. General skills and comprehension

  • Ability to take into account main economic laws in development of technical designs.
  • Ability to act in accordance with ecological principles, to use elements of social-cultural competence.
  • Skills in taking into account legislative principles and ethic norms in engineering activity.
  • Ability to use the acquired knowledge in practice.
  • Good command in Ukrainian language of business in the specialty as well as one of the European languages.

  • Ability to self-organising and effective time management.

Objects of activity of the Bachelor specializing in Automobile Transport are the operation of automobile facilities (chief of truck convoy, engineer of operating subdivision), traffic safety of automobile facilities (engineer of road safety service),management of traffic (transport engineer), transport-expedition work ( dispatcher for transport and transportation service), sphere of automobile examination concerning vehicles and roads (research worker of a research institute and institute of forensic examinations subordinated to Ministry of Justice of Ukraine), automobile transportation (engineer-logistor for automobile transportation), road safety which is under the authority of state traffic police (inspector for traffic management, road worthiness inspector).
Access to further studies: 
The Bachelor in Automobile Transport can continue his/her training in a university in the second level of higher education (Master) in the speciality Automobiles and Automobile Facilities.
Examination regulations, assessment and grading: 
Provisional on knowledge evaluation and recognition of student’s rating in the credite-module system of training.
Graduation requirements: 
Completed training curriculum amounting to 240 credits, successfully defensed Bachelor’s qualification work.
