Profile of the programme: 
The students acquire the necessary knowledge for designing, constructing, manufacturing, investigation, testing, wiring, installation, operation, renovation, and modernization of electronic and radio-electronic apparatus (devices, facilities, complexes, systems) of any purpose, including computational apparatus. The specialists in the branch of electronics and telecommunications are able to apply the necessary knowledge from fundamental and professionally-oriented natural subjects, namely: informatics and computer facilities, basis of components of radio-electronic facilities, radio-measuring, theory of electric circuits and electromagnetic field. They develop radio-electronic circuit diagrams, systems, complexes, construction ,and production of radio-electronic devices.
The total amount of the curriculum is 240 ECTS credits, including module of humanities and social subjects — 26 credits, module of fundamental, natural, and general economic subjects — 90,5 credits, module of professional and practical training — 123,5 credits.

  • Modern basis of components which is being used for development of radio-electronic, telecommunication, and computational facilities.
  • Software for designing radio-electronic devices and systems, computer-aided design systems (CAD systems) for radio-electronic apparatus.
  • Schematic design for assemblies and devices designed for generation, formation, reception, and amplification of radio signals.
  • Modern knowledge in the branch of digital signal processing and in the branch of digital methods of implementation of radio-engineering systems.
  • Methods and means of engineering and computer graphics.
  • Principles of constructor’s design of radio-engineering devices.

The qualification of the graduates in the field of Radio Engineering enables them to hold their primary posts of engineers and technicians in enterprises which deal with production, repair, maintenance, computer modeling, and investigation of radio-electronic devices and systems of highly diverse purposes; in particular, they can work as:
  • superintendents (other heads) foremen of manufacturing subdivisions in industry;
  • technical specialists in the branch of radio-electronics and telecommunications;
  • operators of radio- and telecommunication equipments;
  • junior specialists in the branch of education.

Professional profile — superintendent of production section

The duties of such specialist are the following. Management over separate links of manufacture of parts, assemblies, and units of radio apparatus (RA) in the whole. Organization of the work of separate links of RA production with taking into account the general financial-economic and social factors as well as particular condition of production. Estimation of the influence of technological and organizational factors upon the productivity of the work and the effectiveness of the production. Estimation of the influence of anthropogenic factors peculiar to the RA production upon the environment. Analysis of the production situation concerning observation of the standards and rules of safety engineering, correction of actions of personnel in the case of violation of such standards and rules.

Professional profile — specialist-designer

The duties of such specialist are the following. Development of circuit designs and constructions of radio-electronic apparatus and their parts (assemblies, printed circuit boards, microassemblies) with carrying out corresponding calculations. Application of facilities of compuer-aided modeling and designing using modern software and CAD technologies. Making use of the production forms and records concerning properties of materials, technological and economic indices.

Professional profile — equipment operator

The duties of such specialist are the following. Installation of electronic apparatus ans systems of different purpose (radio-engineering apparatus, informational communication systems, data-processing, instrumentation systems; facilities for medicine, offices, and banks; technological equipment) and putting them in operation. Inspection of functioning, carrying out maintenance, and repair of different-purpose electronic apparatus and systems.

Professional profile — junior specialist in the branch of education

The duties of such specialist are the following. Organization of teaching special subjects (concerning production, installation, and operation of different-purpose apparatus), theoretical and practical training of small groups of apprentices in vocational technical schools and in enterprises immediately.
Access to further studies: 
The Bachelor in Radio Engineering can continue his/her training in a university in the second level of higher education (Master) in the following specialties: Radio Engineering, Radionic Devices, Systems and Complexes, Apparatus for Radio and Television Broadcasting.
Examination regulations, assessment and grading: 
Provisional on knowledge evaluation and recognition of student’s rating in the credite-module system of training.
Graduation requirements: 
Completed training curriculum amounting to 240 credits, successfully defensed Bachelor’s qualification work.
